Pre & Post Ayahuasca Ceremony
Diet Restrictions
In order to pass through an Ayahuasca Ceremony in a sacred way clients are required to follow a special pre-Ayahuasca diet before their Ceremony or retreat. In the Amazon the word 'diet' is used to mean a period of fasting that one undergoes in order to be able to meet the powerful Deity Grandmother Ayahuasca.
By dieting the client is preparing their body by ridding it of the substances that the Deity finds offensive. It is normal when following the path of the Divine Feminine shamanic healing force that one has to undergo purification. The greatest form of purification for Ayahuasca is to fast from engaging in the fourteen non virtues that the Deity of Ayahuasca as a Deity of the Divine Feminine abhors.
